Job Summary
Seeking a Tax Manager to be part of a well-established and growing CPA firm.
The Tax Manager will be working directly with clients and the firm’s senior leadership, leading tax planning and compliance as well as managing client relationships with an emphasis on communication, timeliness, and quality.
Tax Manager Qualifications/Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
- 8+ years of public accounting experience required (with Tax Emphasis)
- ACTIVE CPA license
- Experience in the preparation of complex corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns
- Experience with preparing trust, gift, and estate tax returns
- Experience with Thomson Reuters products is a plus (Ultra Tax CS, Accounting CS, Advanced Flow, Checkpoint, etc.)
- Lead tax planning and compliance
- Supervise projects and direct staff, seniors, and supervisors to meet tax deadlines
- Participate in the training of Tax Accountants and Senior Tax Accountants
