What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to lead the Engineering team, collaborate, and mentor junior engineers
  • 4+ years of related field and project management experience; PMP Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling methods and working knowledge of MS Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera scheduling software
  • Management of GCS, Soil Nail, and HBSN projects preferred
  • Experience with Lean approaches to process improvements and problem-solving
  • High level of expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word

What You’ll Do:

  • Have an integral role in the entirety of the civil, construction management process including safety, quality, production, and project budget oversight. The position works closely with construction engineering, frontline crews, and the regional service delivery team to successfully execute projects safely, on time, on budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. 
  • In collaboration with the project operations team, develop and communicate baseline project schedules, specifically project start and end dates, critical path tasks, and project milestones. 
  • Ensure all required submittal reviews, permit processing, and/or license approvals are obtained and posted. 
  • Provide full project financial projections monthly during the regional WIP review meetings
  • Mentor Jr. level Project Managers on how to succeed using project management principles of budgeting, scheduling, earned value management, etc.
