Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of food-service staff
- Hire, lead, train, & motivate culinary team
- Monitor the quality of products and services produced
- Manage orders, inventory, and costs of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain health standards for raw and finished products as well as safety and sanitation standards for kitchen equipment and preparation areas
Kitchen Manager Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience in a full-service restaurant kitchen environment
- 1-2 years experience in a kitchen leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of all food safety practices
- Ability to lead a team of varying abilities and aptitudes with integrity and respect
- Ability to thrive and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
