Job Summary
We are looking for a Head Chef, responsible for managing the restaurant culinary team within a brand-new resort. This restaurant location offers fresh made pastas, Neapolitan Pizzas, and Italian inspired meat and seafood!

Head Chef Responsibilities:
–Create menus based on seasonality, staying current on trending food products and presentation, and then execute them flawlessly
-Create menus based on seasonality, staying current on trending food products and presentation
-Participate in marketing events directly related to their specific restaurant
-Assume the role of liaison between all dining room operations and culinary staff
-Create ways to further enrich the guest experience by continuously reviewing, implementing, and refining procedures to ensure every opportunity to offer extraordinary guest experiences while maintaining a culture of smiles, retention of luxury standards
Head Chef Requirements:
–Italian Cuisine experience required
-Strong advanced culinary knowledge and skills, ability to teach others
– Must have advanced from scratch pasta and pizza experience
– Knowledge of Italian operations and cuisine
– Advanced competency with food safety procedures and guidelines
– Bachelor’s degree preferred in culinary arts, management or a combination of related experience and education
– 5+ years’ work experience in a management position
-Advanced knowledge of world cuisines, including sauces, knife skills and cooking methods.
-ServSafe manager certification
