Our client is seeking a Director of Public Sector for their dynamic, growing Energy Saving Company (ESCO). This is a key role for an individual who has extensive knowledge and experience with energy-saving programs in the governmental sector. This is a leadership role within the organization and an opportunity to build a division and team.

Director of Public Sector Responsibilities

  • Expand the company's business and reach within the governmental sector
  • Lead the organization internally by developing and communicating strategy, vision and capability requirements
  • Proactively leverage existing relationships and develop new contacts
  • Work collaboratively with the team to produce quality RFPs/RFQs, proposals and contracts
  • Be active, flexible and assertive to create and take advantage of opportunities

Director of Public Sector Qualifications

  • Successful track record of 15 years in winning government contracts, bids and proposals
  • Knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency, cleantech, sustainability
  • Knowledge and understanding of ESCO's, ESPC's, FEMP and the ENABLE program
  • Deep knowledge of government contracting and procurement
  • Attention to detail and Technical writing skills
