Job Summary

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality food and service
  • Food ordering and controlling food costs
  • Staff scheduling and controlling labor costs
  • Hold staff accountable to all local and standard safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to develop a strong staff through continuous training and coaching

Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a fine-dining or upscale-casual scratch kitchen
  • High-volume experience- $3 million-plus
  • Understands quality and helps uphold standards at all times
