Tax Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- EA, CPA, or JD in good standing.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Extensive proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx or similar tax preparation software.
- Experience with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Commitment to continuous education and professional growth.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Personal energy combined with professional care and precision.
Tax Manager Responsibilities:
- Review individual, business, and trust tax returns for clients dealing with complex investment income or international issues.
- Conduct tax planning and provide consulting on related projects.
- Assist the firm in navigating diverse tax issues, focusing on tax preparation and planning.
- Handle multiple projects, acting as a resource for junior staff.
- Prepare all or parts of tax returns directly as needed.
