General Manager Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee all restaurant operations, making crucial decisions and upholding company vision
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge and passion for all restaurant products, ensuring exceptional quality
- Regularly communicate with executive leadership, accounting, sales, marketing, and HR departments
- Serve as a role model, fostering teamwork, fairness, and high performance throughout the staff
- Recruit, train, supervise, and manage restaurant staff, ensuring efficient and cohesive operations
- Oversee all financial and administrative duties, including reconciliations and budget management
- Maintain open communication with leadership, promptly addressing issues and suggesting improvements
- Foster a positive working climate, upholding the restaurant's image and standards
General Manager Requirements:
- Preferably a college degree or relevant practical experience
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in upscale dining
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in industry-specific programs and standard software
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
