We are seeking a Controller / Sr Accountant for a CPA Firm in Lake Forest, IL, up to $150k DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain impeccable financial records
• Analyze transactions and craft insightful reports
• Conduct regular, meticulous audits to guarantee precision in financial documents, expenditures, and investments
• Forecast revenue and delve into profit margins
• Oversee ledger reconciliation and master accounts payable/receivable
• Stay ahead of industry developments and regulatory changes
• Prepare meticulous federal and state tax returns

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
• CPA License
• 3 years in a similar role for a Public Accounting Firm
• Integrity, coupled with the ability to handle confidential information
• Ultra-Tax is a big plus
