We are seeking an Estate and Trust Accountant for a CPA Firm in VA. up to 120k DOE.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly reviewing estate documents for tax purposes and expertly preparing fiduciary tax returns.
- Serving as the go-to client contact for probate or trust-related inquiries.
- Manage and coach junior Estate and Trust accountants, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Effectively liaising with brokerage firms and banks when necessary.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. Master in Taxation a plus
- CPA License
- Strong hands-on experience in trust and estate tax preparation, demonstrating your expertise in the field.
- 5 years of relevant experience, establishing you as a seasoned professional in Estate and Trust Accounting.
- Proficient in CCH ProSystem.
