We are seeking a skilled Automation and Electrical Engineer for a thriving food manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design, installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of manufacturing control systems, including PLC (Allen Bradley) & HMIs.
- Ensure the reliability of electrical and process control equipment, both hardware and software, for the factory.
- Manage and optimize all technical aspects of the plant's electrical power distribution, from utility company service entrance down through switchboards, transformers, distribution panels, etc., to individual loads.
- Participate in and validate the design of power distribution systems, motor control centers, control panels, human-machine interface (HMI), instrumentation, system integration, FAS architecture, and commissioning/start-up.
- Project management and supervision of electrical construction projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Factory Controls and/or Automation Engineer.
- Proficient in PLC and HMI programming.
- In-depth knowledge of electricity in low voltage, medium voltage, and high voltage installations.
- Familiarity with food processing operations and technology, GMP, and food safety.
- Proficiency with MS Office/MS Project.
