Vice President of Operations needed to support a large team. 

 

Vice President of Operations Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for the overall administration of all operations, strategic planning, and functions of the following departments: Casino games, Slots, Tables, Information Technology, Facilities, Security, and Pool Operations.

·       Formulates and administers department policies and activities and develops both short and long-term goals and objectives for all assigned areas of responsibility.

·       Participate in training and development of staff skills, utilizing coaching and mentoring.

·       Performs analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department and organizational progress toward stated goals and objectives and recommends action to improve the operation.

·       Management and development of Directors and Associates through effective coaching and training.

·       Responsible for creating a work environment, which promotes teamwork, high levels of performance, feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and Team Member engagement.

·       Ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies/ Upholds the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.

Vice President of Operations Qualifications and Benefits:

·       Must meet all Qualifications to be considered. Must have a bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree strongly preferred, with a concentration in business, finance, marketing, or hospitality/casino management. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

·       Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of combined gaming/hotel/resort/ hospitality experience.

·       Must have a minimum of three (3) years executive management level at a resort/gaming property that comprises of at least 1800 slots, 40 tables, 750 team members, and multiple food and beverage outlets.

·       Knowledge of tribal, local, state, and federal gaming laws dealing with Indian

·       Gaming and attendant regulations as well as the Casino’s internal controls, policies, and procedures.

·       Performance compensation of 35% of base salary.

·       100% paid Health Insurance.
