Food and Beverage Director Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct all food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality standards and superior guest satisfaction.
- Develop and execute creative marketing strategies, promotions, and menu concepts in collaboration with culinary leadership.
- Manage the departmental operating budget, control expenses, and implement financial plans aligned with the property's objectives.
- Lead, train, and mentor Food and Beverage staff, fostering teamwork, excellence, and outstanding customer service.
- Implement and maintain effective communication channels with staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
Food and Beverage Director Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality/Restaurant Management or related field, with 8-10 years of industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of Food and Beverage management experience in a resort with multiple full-service and quick-service outlets.
- Two to three years of service in current (or most recent) position and in each previous position.
- Previous experience living and working in the Caribbean or in a remote environment is strongly preferred.
- Culinary management experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage diverse teams, prioritize client and customer services, and proficiency in budgeting and menu pricing.
- Preference will be afforded to applicants with U.S. or Dutch citizenship.
