This is a business and leisure sales role, covering a boutique hotel group with three properties. This position will require relocation, with assistance package provided. Area Sales Manager Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Lead and mentor a team of Sales and Event Managers
  • Hands-on leadership style
  • Attend trade shows, community events, and industry meetings
  • Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed business travel revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication
  • Collaborate with Senior leadership to achieve sales and marketing goals
  • Innovate and creatively utilize the use of our existing meeting and event spaces
  • Bolster existing leisure and group revenue and generate new business
  • Work with the financial team to establish sales budgets
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
