Hotel Engineering Supervisor Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of/experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to delegate and lead a small team
  • Experience managing a budget for supplies and maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail

Hotel Engineering Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and hotel departments to create memorable guest experiences
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs ensuring the proper functioning of all hotel systems
  • Oversee and repair guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
  • Ensure compliance with local and state safety, health, and environmental regulations and codes
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot potential hotel issues – maintain as necessary
