Director of Finance
Our client, a non-profit organization in Northridge, CA is searching for a Director of Finance who will act as an outsourced CFO on behalf of their customers. This position is highly visible internally and client-facing where a customer-service-oriented sense of professionalism is a must.
Director of Finance Responsibilities
- Manage financial and accounting services and provide direction in the preparation of financial statements, including grant expense tracking and grant reporting for governmental and private grants.
- Prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts for all customers while providing valuable insight to their condition.
- Oversee the annual financial and governmental A-133 audits
- Provide training to staff to ensure internal controls are implemented properly
- Serve as fiscal liaison to Authorizers, Counties, State and Federal agencies
Director of Finance Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience that includes oversight and development of staff
- Non-profit accounting experience is a plus
- Experience in school finance structure and operations is a plus
- Deep understanding of GAAP
