Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead, guide, and train our diverse team of unit employees, including students, union members, and student managers
  • Implement and uphold all operational procedures and programs associated with dining operations
  • Perform daily pre-service assessments, line checks, station inspections, and table visits, either directly or by delegation

Assistant Manager Requirements:

  • Possess an Associate's degree in food service or a related field (Equivalent education and experience will be considered as substitutes)
  • A track record of at least 2 years progressively managing similar food service operations
  • Preferred experience in a high-volume food service establishment
  • ServSafe Certification is a must
