We are in search of a Chief Engineer / Facility Director for our waterfront Extended Stay Hotel. The Chief Engineer should have advanced knowledge of building management/engineering with a positive attitude, good communication skills and be committed to delivering a high level of customer service.

Chief Engineer Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of the hotel Engineering department, including interior and exterior areas, Preventative maintenance and Capital expenses
Familiar with and complies with the hotel mission and standards in performing maintenance activities with urgency
Responsible to respond to guests' maintenance needs promptly and ensuring guests receive efficient and courteous service.
Maintain, and monitor the hotel's emergency and security systems
Collaboration and communication with property General Manager

Chief Engineer Requirements:

3+ years of Chief Engineer experience in hotel/resort of a similar property
Knowledgeable in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical engineering
Preferred degree in Facilities Management and or part of a facilities trade association
Proven success managing costs to budgets
