We are in search of a Chief Engineer / Facility Director for our waterfront Extended Stay Hotel. The Chief Engineer should have advanced knowledge of building management/engineering with a positive attitude, good communication skills and be committed to delivering a high level of customer service.

Chief Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the hotel Engineering department, including interior and exterior areas, Preventative maintenance and Capital expenses
  • Familiar with and complies with the hotel mission and standards in performing maintenance activities with urgency
  • Responsible to respond to guests' maintenance needs promptly and ensuring guests receive efficient and courteous service.
  • Maintain, and monitor the hotel's emergency and security systems
  • Collaboration and communication with property General Manager

Chief Engineer Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Chief Engineer experience in hotel/resort of a similar property
  • Knowledgeable in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical engineering
  • Preferred degree in Facilities Management and or part of a facilities trade association
  • Proven success managing costs to budgets
