We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and determined Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate must have a solid culinary background and be eager to grow within our fast-paced and high-energy restaurant. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of progressive experience in high volume food production or catering
- An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
- Being able to function effectively in a highly stressful environment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant's standards and customers' expectations.
- Train the auxiliary kitchen staff to ensure efficient results.
- It is important to ensure that there is order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours. Please maintain a tidy and organized workspace, and follow all necessary safety protocols to ensure a safe and productive environment.
- Assist clients in creating customized tasting menus for various events from their own kitchen.
- Ensure all food preparation meets hygiene and safety standards.
- Ensure professional equipment is properly maintained to prevent malfunctions.
