Land Development Civil Engineer

Our client is seeking a professional civil engineer with a specialization in site development to be part of a growing team in Texas. This position is a unique opportunity to lead, grow, and develop a team to support and enhance the company's range of expertise in site development-related work.

Land Development Civil Engineer – PE Benefits:

Land Development Civil Engineer – PE Duties:

• Create and maintain relationships – in all aspects of land development with all shareholders. External – developers, municipalities, and state entities. Internal – Surveyors, other engineering groups, and administrative support team.
• Create Proposals and Plans – Develop the scope of the project, related fees, and costs with the ability to follow and report progress. Knowledge of land regulations by subdivision or region. Preparation and presentation of work for public and closed-county/city meetings. Project areas include roads and drainage working with commercial, Industrial, and subdivisions from land purchase to finished lots.
• Role model and mentor Assist in building, maintaining, and mentoring the team. Involved with community and professional organizations.

Land Development Civil Engineer – PE – Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree – Civil PE registered in Texas (within 6 months)
• 6yrs experience with Land Development – all areas of zoning, platting, and permitting including Master Plan
• Design experience – Grade, drainage, road, alley, utility design
• Experience with AutoCAD and various modeling software
• Construction management experience on multiple projects with all shareholders while managing and delegating needed tasks with an awareness of the overall scope of the project with excellent communication skills in all areas.
• Life learner with a diligent work ethic, and a desire to mentor and grow new Civil Engineers.
