Our client, a stable organization with over 100 years of history in the industrial equipment industry, is seeking a Fabrication Shop Manager to join their team.

 

FABRICATION SHOP MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage progress from design through installation
  • Interface with engineers to meet the project requirements
  • Support manufacturing engineers with problem-solving of automated equipment issues
  • Supervise the installation to ensure compliance with contract specifications
  • Manage the production at the customer locations
  • Ensure continuous morale and team building

FABRICATION SHOP MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Familiarity with MIG, TIG, and flux core welding as well as AWS/ASME welding codes
  • Experience managing capital projects of $1M+
  • Green or black belt certification is preferred
