A leading fundraising organization seeks a Fundraising Associate to support their Southeast team in all fundraising activities. This is an ideal role for an individual looking for a career in fundraising. Reporting to the Southeastern Regional Director, you'll support donor relations and coordination of all event planning and coordination.

Fundraising Associate Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact with SE donors, community leaders, and other departmental staff requesting information
• Coordinate all work in preparation of meetings & events of various staff and external committees to include volunteers and lay leadership
• Handle all logistics and serve as the main point of communication with vendors and contractors pertaining to the New York Gala and other events
• Provide administrative support for fundraising and donor development activities, including tracking all donations, maintaining the current database of prospects, writing correspondence, etc.

Fundraising Associate Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree Required. Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of administrative assistance experience, preferably within a non-profit
• Must have excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Raisers Edge, and Internet) and be familiar with working with database programs and presentation software
• Must be able to work independently, multi-task, and work under tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and high accuracy and organization
• Must be able to perform some Sundays and attend events regularly
