Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator in the Philadelphia area. The Estimator provides support to the estimating department of an exterior building systems contractor and ensures construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, and contract documents.

Estimator Job Requirements

  • Gathers bid documents and material pricing
  • Generates detailed bid/proposal submissions.
  • Provides analysis of construction plans and specifications
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects
  • Identifies scopes of work for subcontract opportunities and coordinates with subcontractors

Estimator Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • 5+ years experience in the construction industry with an emphasis on exterior building systems projects
  • Estimating experience including performing quantity take-offs and discussing work scopes with contractors preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel.
  • Working knowledge with digital take-off software (Bluebeam) a plus.
