We are an accounting and wealth management firm outside of San Antonio, adding a Senior Accountant to our team. The Senior Accountant will focus primarily on tax services for our clients, with some bookkeeping. Successful candidates will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, public accounting experience, high attention to detail, and have their CPA (or be CPA eligible). Senior Accountant Benefits:
- $80k – $100k salary
- Hybrid work schedule (2 days in office / 3 days remote)

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients, managing the client relationship
- Ensure client's accounting needs are met re: tax planning, tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial analysis
- Oversee and coordinate preparation of tax returns, as well as timely payment of taxes
- Handle IRS Notices
- Prepare financial statements, sales and payroll tax returns, year-end W2 and 1099s
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting, identifying trends and opportunities
Senior Accountant Qualifications:
- CPA (or CPA eligible) – REQUIRED
- 5+ years public accounting experience – REQUIRED
- Experience with individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Experience with complex tax projections for individuals and corporations
- Bachelor's in finance or accounting
- QuickBooks online experience, proficient in Excel
- Demonstrates values of putting people first, seeking to grow, and accountability
