Our client, an innovative insuretech is looking to add a Chief Insurance Officer to its organization.

CHIEF INSURANCE OFFICER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for running the MGA operations
  • Oversee underwriting, underwriting guidelines, and pricing of insurance products as well as claims process
  • Manage relationships with carrier partners and onboarding of new carrier partners
  • Work on complex and high-premium cases
  • Oversee performance of the book of business and identify areas of improvement

CHIEF INSURANCE OFFICER REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years underwriting experience
  • Solid product experience within disability income and employee benefits
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail

CHIEF INSURANCE OFFICER COMPENSATION:

  • Salary + equity
  • Fully remote position
  • Health, dental, & vision insurance
