As a Casual Dining Sous Chef in our high-volume scratch kitchen, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the consistency and excellence of our culinary offerings. You will work closely with our Head Chef to lead a talented team of kitchen staff, ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen, and create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute a wide range of dishes from scratch, adhering to our high-quality standards and recipes.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to all kitchen procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain the highest level of food quality and presentation, conducting regular taste tests and inspections.
  • Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in a high-volume, scratch kitchen environment.
  • Leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
