Our client's growing outpatient physical therapy practice is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist with management opportunities for the right candidate. Their clinic can be fast-paced at times but allows individualized treatments. They use a combination of PTs, PTAs, PT technicians, and massage therapists to treat their patients. Our client is a privately owned family type of organization that focuses on great rapport amongst staff and patients.

Physical Therapist Requirements:

  • Clean and current Nevada State PT License, BLS
  • Clinical experience is preferred (outpatient facility)
  • Personal injury treatments (orthopedic injuries, post-op)
  • Acute injury treatments from start to finish
  • Strong background in orthopedics and manual therapy
  • Ability to manage others while creating a positive work environment

Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments of patient's medical history, current physical condition, and goals for therapy
  • Use diagnostic tests and tools, such as X-rays or MRI, as needed
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs and goals of each patient
  • Provide hands-on manual therapy techniques such as massage, joint mobilization, and soft tissue manipulation
  • Utilize modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy as part of treatment
  • Develop strategies to manage and alleviate pain through therapeutic interventions and exercises
