We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Field Service Technician. We are a manufacturer of equipment and parts. We service many industries. If you have expertise in installing and maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment don't miss this one! We offer a great starting salary range of $62,000 to $72,000 and a good benefit package!

Responsibilities:

Produce quality, detailed work
Responsible for performing work accurately
Define and solve problems
Take care of customers needs
Experience with inverters (VFDs), batteries, load banks is a plus
Interpret equipment manuals
Solid understanding of diesel, Gas engines and generator technology
Use a variety of electronic test equipment including DMMs, Insulation testers up to 15kv, Hi-pot testers up to 34kv, thermo-imaging cameras, sound meters, gas detectors, laser tachometers, manometers, multichannel data acquisition systems
Use a variety of hand, power, and various precision measurement tools

Requirements for this role:

Technical Certification in automotive, lift truck, heavy equipment, and/or diesel engine repair
Experience with medium voltage field service – 3 to 5 years expertise
Ability to travel UP TO 80% of the time (working at various customers' locations)
Ability to utilize laptop computers and portable diagnostic tools
Valid drivers license
Be sure the medium voltage experience is there (3-7 years) and include in MC
Software experience skills include (add all relevant experience in MC): CAT-ET, MTU Diasys, Detroit DDDL, Danfoss plus 1 service tool, Deep Sea Electronics, Danfoss VLT, LabVIEW, ACSELERATOR QUICKSET (Will be trained onsite for any software the candidate is unfamiliar with)
