We are seeking a passion-driven, experienced Special Education teacher to join our non-profit organization committed to ensuring that the children we serve have access to the ABA, speech, occupational therapies, and education services they need to thrive in their lives. Must be a certified New York State Special Education teacher and be motivated by making a difference in children's successful futures.

ABA Special Education Instructor – What makes you a great fit?
- 1+ years of experience as a lead teacher/lead instructor in a special education environment
- BS/BA or higher
- NY State State Certified Special Education Teacher (Birth-2nd Grade, TSSLD, TSHH, LMSW, LCSW certified) OR LMSW, LCSW, NP, RN, LPN
- Passionate about working with children and improving their lives
- Team-player mentality
- Top-notch communication skills
- TSSLD (Certified Teacher for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) is a plus
ABA Special Education Instructor – What you'll be doing:
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and continuously evaluate students' progress
- Execute programs rooted in occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, and applied behavior analysis
- Uphold consistent communication with parents and ensure timely completion of progress reports
- Gather and record important data about students' behaviors, progress, and overall performance
- Train, guide, and supervise interns, student teachers, and teaching assistants
- Execute behavioral intervention plans
- Serve as the lead for group instruction activities
- Engage and participate in staff meetings and training sessions
- Full-time (7:50 am to 5:15 pm, Mon – Fri) 12-month position (with paid holidays)
