We are seeking an experienced Director for the Ohio Region to Manage the Engineering Office of activities for a transportation-based Civil Engineering firm. If you have business development, project management/delivery experience, along with leading and developing an office staff to success, we are looking for you!
Director Responsibilities:
- Client development throughout Ohio, including inperson meetings with ODOT Directors and County Commissioners, Mayors, and City Engineers
- Develop a strategic plan for growth, including both work load and staffing requirements
- Provide monthly progress to the company President
- Manage a team of engineers for transportation projects including both roadways and bridges
- May include assisting with design, calculations and analysis, and project review
- May include attending meetings for field check, public information, hearing, and pre-construction
Director Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- PE and a minimum of 10+ years experience with roadway and bridge design and related transportation structures
- Engineering office management experience
- Experience with preparing technical proposal responses
- Software Knowledge: MicroStation, AutoCad, GEOPAK, INROADS, Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license
- Not a strictly 8A-5P M-F, may include some evening meetings or travel and overnight stays
Director Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $147K – $166K, depending upon experience
- Bonus
- Day shift, flexible, with potential for some remote work
