General Manager Requirements

  • 5+ years of Full Service Upscale or Jr. Luxury Hotel experience in a General Manager or similar role.
  • Possess a clear understanding of hotel financial reporting, including developing and managing budgets and P&Ls.
  • An ownership work ethic that will run the hotel in partnership with ownership.
  • Can develop hotel SOPs and implement new systems to improve sales and guest service

General Manager Responsibilities

  • Overall management of the hotel property
  • Financial reporting and budget management
  • Help grow the brand status nationally
  • Keep the hotel active in the local community
  • Provide clear and efficient communication to ownership without needing to be micro-managed
