Resort Manager Responsibilities/Requirements

Foster a management team that possesses and delivers on guest service, employee relations, team cooperation and financial responsibility
Provide hands-on operational leadership and support to management within Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, Spa, Guest Service and Housekeeping to implement best practices, programs and procedures to drive revenue, efficiency, productivity, and a culture of excellence
Be the face of the resort at all times within the hotel operation; ensure visibility with employees at all levels while absorbing full understanding of each area’s day-to-day operations
Maintain a positive work space for all team members
Ability to create a budget for the operation and ensure profit and loss statements each month are monitors accurately and effectively
Ability to have a flexible schedule that may involve working nights, weekends and holidays when needed
Experience with Luxury Resort Services standards related to Forbes and AAA is a must!
Previous experience being responsible for property operational performance
