BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH-SPEAKING KITCHEN MANAGER

Restaurant Kitchen Manager Responsibilities
· Primarily responsible for the successful management of all BOH operations.
· Responsible for the leadership of all Kitchen staff, fostering a cooperative supportive workplace, encouraging a solution-driven mindset, and cultivating an environment that focuses on excellent service and respect for all.
· Upholds a passion for culinary operations and barbeque, smokehouse, and prep standards.
· Oversees all BOH operations to ensure safety, quality, accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.
· Responsible for maintaining budgetary targets and for partnering with the GM and Ownership team to set, meet, and exceed the goals of the business, ensuring alignment with the mission and core values of the group.
This is a hands-on position, working to oversee the execution of service, expo, catering, and all in-house and off-site events with responsibilities to include but not limited to hiring, schedules, and training, COGS, overall cleanliness, and maintenance for a safe and compliant working environment.
Restaurant Kitchen Manager Qualifications
· 2+ years experience as Kitchen Manager in a 100% scratch kitchen, full-service restaurant, within a high-functioning system focused on quality, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work at a fast pace.
· Barbecue, Southern, or Soul Food experience preferred.
· Should have demonstrable volume and organized prep experience.
· Has a desire to learn generally, and the ability to teach in a cooperative team framework.
· Has a thorough knowledge of operating systems including payroll, inventory, and purchasing.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate internally with both team and guests, and skilled in providing clear concise reporting and feedback sharing.
· Available for a flexible schedule, typically Wednesday – Sunday.
· Maintains the ability to remain calm and focused within a busy environment, the ability to multitask, and stay organized.
Restaurant Kitchen Manager Benefits
· Base Salary of up to $75,000
