A reputable medical device manufacturing startup is in search of a Setup Technician. With a paramount focus on safety, the CNC Setup Technician adeptly configures and fine-tunes CNC equipment to create both prototype and production medical instruments and devices. They utilize precision measurement tools to meet customer specifications.
CNC Setup Technician – Benefits:

CNC Setup Technician – Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety, using awareness tools to eliminate unsafe conditions and actions.
- Set up CNC machines, troubleshoot, adjust wear offsets, and optimize equipment parameters.
- Create standard and prototype medical devices
- Machine parts, tooling, and fixtures using manual lathe, mill, and grinding.
- Document instructions, prints, tool lists, and inspection procedures
- Foster 5S culture by maintaining an organized workspace.
CNC Setup Technician – Requirements:
- High School education or equivalent; 2-year associate degree in CNC preferred.
- 10+ years' experience as a CNC Operator/Setup Technician
- Thorough understanding of production regulations, Quality Control processes, and MS Office
- Experience with CNC Machine platforms like Tsugami Swiss Lathe with Fanuc Controller, HAAS Minimill, and 5-axis milling (preferred)
