We are looking for an outstanding Executive Chef for our boutique hotel. Executive Chef Qualifications:
- Solid culinary pedigree with good progression and tenure
- At least 3 years experience as an upscale, ingredient-driven, multi-outlet hotel chef, including banquets
- Volume experience of at least $7M
- Four Star Resort or Michelin Star experience a plus
- VIP guest experience a must
- Exceptional culinary skills: menu development, banquet planning, and recipe development with supporting training and quality assurance materials
- Experience contributing to the creation of PR/Marketing campaigns and budgets
- Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Food production and menu development for the restaurant, banquet functions, and other outlets
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, develop, schedule, coach, and counsel culinary team members (19-21 BOH staff)
- Quality assurance, inventory, financials, vendor relations, job safety, food safety, and sanitation
- Reports to the hotel GM and works closely with the F&B Director for multiple outlets
- Must have strong computer and directorial skills
- Executive Chef Compensation:
- Base Salary of 115k
- Benefits: Health Insurance, 2 weeks vacation, 6 sick days, Holiday Pay and 401(k)
- On-Premise Parking
- Bonus
