The Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and amending tax returns in a family-oriented culture environment and has strong experience building client relationships and assisting with tax planning and projections.

Tax Accountant Responsibilities:

• Review all Income Tax Returns (1040, 1065, the 1120s, 1120, 1041)
• Conduct tax research, train team members on new tax items
• Prepare amended tax returns and file extensions electronically.
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices.
• Client Relations

Tax Accountant Requirements:

• Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Minimum of 7 years of Tax Preparation & Review Experience
• Strong Oral and Communication skills
