We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sr Project Manager for a thriving industrial construction company to support, monitor, and control construction jobs. This will involve initial client interaction and leadership/management of teams, budget, and schedule from project conception to complete project closeout, with safety and quality remaining top of mind.
Sr Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction, generate project schedules, align resources
- Lead and motivate the team to successful project execution
- Report updates, attend meetings
- Manage construction efforts to ensure safety, quality, design, schedule, and budget
- Initiate change orders and additional work estimates
- Manage contracts and efficiencies regarding rental equipment, expenses, fees, materials, and job cost
- Lead contractors and subcontractors
- Coach and mentor project team
- Complete closeout of projects including financial aspects
- Handle any issues appropriately and professionally
Sr Project Manager Requirements:
- BS Engineering or equivalent of training and experience
- 10+ years in heavy industrial project management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Viewpoint
- Automotive project experience is optimal
- Problem resolution, scheduling experience, organized and detailed
- Ability to travel for up to 9 months at a time to project sites
