We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wastewater Project Engineer to lead and manage our wastewater projects. As the Senior Wastewater Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, design, and implementation of various wastewater treatment and management projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects, adherence to regulatory standards, and the delivery of environmentally sustainable solutions.

Requirements for our Senior Wastewater Project Engineer

  • 10+ years of water/wastewater treatment experience – 15+ years of overall progressive civil engineering experience
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Proficiency with Civil3D, BioWin, and FlowMaster
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in managing and leading wastewater engineering projects
  • Expertise in wastewater treatment processes, hydraulics, and environmental regulations

Responsibilities of the Senior Wastewater Project Engineer include

  • Point of contact for contractors, designers, and clients
  • Manage multiple projects from start to completion with a team of civil engineers and CAD techs
  • Assist in fee determinations/proposals, monitor budgets and schedules, review and approve invoices
  • Provide quality control checks, shop drawing reviews, field observations, and RFI responses
  • Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project finances effectively
  • Interact with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address concerns to maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
