This boutique luxury hotel seeks an onsite Director of Finance to oversee all financial reporting, planning and analysis, risk management, contracts, and compliance. Director of Finance Responsibilities:
– Oversee all financial reporting, analysis, and IT operations
– Develop appropriate systems and procedures for the accounting department
– Provide accurate financial analyses and guidance for management and ownership
– Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable laws and regulations
– Optimize cash flow and achieve the best possible financial status for the hotel
– Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals
– Evaluate the Finance division structure and team for continuous improvement
Director of Finance Qualifications:
– Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
– 5+ years as Assistant Director of Finance, Controller or Sr. Accountant in a resort/hotel environment
– Strong financial, organizational, and operational skillset
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
– Knowledge of GAAP and Hotel Industry regulatory and advisory organizations
