Our client, a growing job shop manufacturer, is looking for a talented Master Gear Cutter. The Master Gear Cutter will set up and run hobbing equipment while utilizing their extensive gear-cutting background to lead, train and direct a team of operators to set up and run their equipment.
Master Gear Cutter – Benefits:
- Base salary between $66,560 to $83, 200 DOE ($32 to $40/hr.)
- Schedule: Day shift 4 days X 10 hours, overtime eligibility

Master Gear Cutter – Responsibilities:
- Facilitate production in multiple hobbing areas to maintain customer needs
- Assist in troubleshooting issues across multiple machines and areas
- Maintain team dynamics while training operators to become proficient in all aspects of gear-cutting and shop processes
- Various other duties as required.
Master Gear Cutter – Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 7+ years of manufacturing and gear-cutting experience
- Manual Gear cutting experience is a MUST
- Experience with one of the following equipment: Liebherr, Toss, G&E, Barber Coleman, and others.
