We are looking for a FULLY REMOTE Tax Manager for a tax automation and optimization platform for digital and service-based businesses. Our client helps to streamline, optimize, and file, their client’s business and personal taxes. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to get out of the public accounting grind but still enjoys tax and client work.
FULLY REMOTE Tax Manager Responsibilities
-Review and manage tax returns, extensions, and tax planning calculations for all entity types, with a focus on individual tax returns.
-Review financial statements and perform accounting and adjusting entries, bank reconciliations, and client books and records.
-Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individual and business estimated tax liability
-Prepare or review complex U.S. and state individual income, gift tax, and estate tax returns, conduct complex tax research
– Prepare memorandum outlining findings and conclusions, Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices
FULLY REMOTE Tax Manager Requirement
-4 or more years of experience as a licensed CPA
-You have been in charge of the tax lifecycle of small businesses and individuals (planning, advising, quarterly reports, preparation, reviews, and filing)
– Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns
– BA in Accounting or MA in Taxation
