Banquet Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Build Event Business in our restaurants
  • Build and expand relationships with the community and organizations
  • Plan, organize and upsell all parties and events
  • Brand Ambassador for the organization

Banquet Sales Manager Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in a similar position – managing private events for a luxury hotel or restaurant
  • Must be from Red Bank or the surrounding area and currently working as a Banquet Sales Manager/ Event Planner
  • Strong prospecting and sales skills to find target clients and close new business.
  • Experience selling events to small groups and large corporate accounts.
  • Creative individual with a passion for sales — strong hospitality and guest service skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, results-focused, and deadline-driven. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, self-confidence, and professional maturity.
  • Solid judgment, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
