Job Summary

Accounting Manager Schedule:
- Full time
- Monday to Friday
- Hybrid remote work schedule
Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Issue timely and accurate financial statements
- Evaluate and select systems and processes to support finance, accounting and business reporting needs
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Develop a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Maintain a system of controls over the accounting systems and transactions
- Manage the production of the annual budget and interim forecasts
- Partner with functional departments to develop and maintain critical operating metrics and reports
- Establish and maintain a financial reporting package for management
- Provide financial analyses as needed for key business decisions
- Day-to-day management of the Company’s banking relationship and debt service
- Bank reconciliations and cash management
- Day-to-day accounting for all incoming shipments, outgoing shipments, raw goods inventory, work-in-process inventory, and finished product inventory
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely and accurate manner
- Comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Oversee timely and accurate payroll processing
- Oversee administration of employee benefits plans
- Oversee administration of business insurance programs
Accounting Manager Qualifications:
- Prior relevant experience leading the finance and accounting at small to medium business.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5+ years of progressively responsible and relevant experience
- Preference for CPA/CMA
- Must be a team player
- Must be highly energetic and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
