Director of Human Resources Responsibilities:

  • Oversees compliance and HR operations
  • Build a positive team culture
  • Partner with operations leaders to support the employee lifecycle
  • Recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and terminations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations company-wide
  • Lead the HR Specialist and Office Managers to ensure the consistent and accurate execution of day-to-day HR administration

Director of Human Resources Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in a progressive human resources environment, leading both exempt and non-exempt employee populations
  • Strong organizational and administrative skillset
  • Command of technology platforms including MS Office Suite, payroll/HRIS (ADP), POS (Salido)
  • Ability to travel to new openings/other restaurant locations as needed
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish, preferred 
  • Availability to support urgent matters on nights and weekends, as needed
  • Ability to work primarily on-site at the head office in NYC
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Preferred: HR Certification such as the SHRM-CP or PHR
