Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Train, coach, and direct the kitchen team to be the best
- Build respectful relationships with every member of the team while holding them accountable and thoroughly training and supporting them
- Control all costs in the kitchen and manage high standards of service and food quality
Kitchen Manager Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years of progressive leadership experience in the kitchen
- Strong and proven leadership qualities: coach mentality, lead by example, uphold restaurant standards, clear and direct, communicator, a trainer with a coaching mentality, maintain a high rate of staff retention
- Proven ability to uphold standards, exceed expectations, and build relationships – attitude and drive are everything
