Job Summary

A reputable manufacturing firm in the Auburn/Opelika area is looking for their next CNC Machinist extraordinaire to join their growing team!

CNC Machinist Benefits

  • Generous Salary up to $55k
  • $5000 sign-on bonus/$5000 Relocation

CNC Machinist Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience running 3-axis, 4 or 5-axis milling equipment and or lathes.
  • Ability to work 2nd shift – M-TH, 3pm-1am
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to work in AutoCAD
  • Ability to read and edit CNC programs

CNC Machinist Responsibilities

  • Working from drawings and instructions to create replacement and new parts in making repairs to metal parts for experimental or prototype equipment
  • Reads and edits CNC programs
  • Requires detailed knowledge of metals and measurements used in the machining process
  • CNC Machining of complex and high-precision parts in metal
  • Sets up and operates manual and CNC lathes, CNC mills, saws, cutting tools, and slotting tools to meet exact tolerances on engineering prints
