Job Summary
If you are a passionate (and analytical) brand builder and digital thinker who thrives on creative ideas, this could be the role for you! As Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and setting the marketing strategy, budget planning and management, creating activations and strategic partnership programs as well as building relationships with retailers and neighborhood constituents. A seasoned understanding of the arts, fashion, food, and entertainment industry is also needed for complete success. This is an on-site role – not remote.
Director of Marketing Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead a launch strategy for brand recognition.
- Develop an annual calendar of events and activation including budget.
- Manage/produce and oversee the execution of all activations and or marketing initiatives.
- Lead the development of an acquisition strategy for both web and mobile platforms.
- Partner with business leaders and marketers to develop annual marketing plans in support of the organizational strategy
- Develop marketing and media strategies.
- Direct implementation and execution of marketing initiatives.
- Measure and analyze marketing effectiveness to optimize efficiencies.
- Develop and manage a broad range of events and activations.
Director of Marketing Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
- Experience in launching a large multi-venue food and beverage opening including launch strategy, budgeting, media strategy planning.
- Experience with launch of a digital platform including but not limited to:
- – Acquisition strategy
- – CRM set up
- – Loyalty and rewards management
- inimum 8 years in marketing, agency experience a plus.
- Experience managing multiple brands and stakeholders.
- Experience in Real Estate non-essential.
- Must be a skilled leader who creates inspiring vision, leads by example through mentoring and coaching a high-performance marketing team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage a cross-functional team.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can lead projects from invention to completion.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities with little direction in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment to meet critical deadlines
- Strong UX and UI understanding.
- Customer/Client focused.
- Experience in the industries of Fashion, Food/Hospitality, Entertainment or Retail.
- Passionate, entrepreneurial and dedicated to success.
