Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our professional management staff. This individual is responsible for the management of food and beverage operations including fine dining service, banquets, and special events assuring high standards are met and maintained regarding service performance, member satisfaction and cleanliness, and organization of the operation. Qualified candidates should have 3-5 years of progressive management experience with private member-owned country club experience a plus. The club is open for 7 1/2 months to the members and offers qualified candidates great quality of life in the off-season.

Food and Beverage Manager responsibilities include

  • Training, scheduling, counseling and daily management of all food and beverage service staff members.
  • Promotes a positive and openly communicative relationship with all kitchen personnel and other department heads and management;
  • Oversees reservation lists, maintains POS system, assigning tables to service staff. Some experience with Point of Sale systems is necessary.
  • Welcome and seat members. This club continues a level of service where most dinner orders are taken in the living room by the Food and Beverage Manager and Dining Room Supervisor with assistance from the Clubhouse Manager. This individual will assist in directing pre-meal lineups with staff and assume opening and/or closing management duties. He/she will maintain that all areas of dining operation are clean and orderly and that health department guidelines are met.
  • The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player, “tech savvy” and able to assist in various aspects of our operations.
  • Candidate must have strong attention to detail. It is important that they bring a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to excellence to our program.

 

Salary-90,000-100,000 plus bonus and a great benefits package

Healthcare, Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, Dental, and Simple IRA are all available.

Candidates with a BS degree in hospitality management is considered a plus.
