Job Summary

An iconic Inn on Block Island, RI is in need of a talented Pastry Chef for the upcoming Summer season, July – October.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced role, is highly organized and able to coach and mentor junior chefs.

Housing is provided and off-season opportunities within the group are available.

Pastry Chef Benefits:

  • You will receive a weekly salary between $1100-$1300/week!

Pastry Chef Requirements:

  • Oversee Pastry program for 3 outlets
  • Coach-mentor junior chefs
  • Menu Development
  • Experience baking bread, pastries, ganache, wedding cakes

Pastry Chef Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of BOH management experience
  • 2+ years of Pastry experience (Upscale/fine dining preferred)
  • Coach/mentor leadership style
  • Open to seasonal work that could become year-round
