Senior Embedded Software Engineer Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary $115,000 to $150,000, based on experience

Senior Embedded Software Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Lead the designing of embedded software in new projects.
  • Focus on efficiency, stability, compatibility, and scalability while developing embedded software for hardware environments
  • Implementing algorithms related to PID control, sensor compensations, and advanced filters.

Senior Embedded Software Engineer Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of embedded software experience and expertise in Embedded C coding
  • Experience in communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS-232, RS-485, Bluetooth, and WiFi in RTOS and/or bare metal embedded systems.
  • Expertise in writing device drivers for RTOS and/or bare metal embedded systems.
  • Hands-on experience with designing embedded microcontroller code, specifically ARM and PIC, in a production environment.
  • Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills with embedded systems.
  • Collaborative communication skills, excellent judgment, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Take the initiative and mentor other software developers on vision and software quality
